Trumpet player and vocalist who worked with Jan Garber And His Orchestra in the 1930s and 40s. He also worked with Don Shoup (aka Don Reid) in 1940s, and led a band called Fritz and The Sharps (originally led by Hank Messer) from 1951 to 1971 in the San Bernardino area in California. He quit playing the trumpet entirely when he retired in 1971, for health reasons.
