Fun Boy Three were well known faces in the 2 Tone movement as they all were prominent members of The Specials. When "Ghost Town" reached UK#1 on July 11, 1981, the Specials had split, as singers Terry Hall, Neville Staples and Lynval Golding had formed Fun Boy Three with their first single already recorded with producer Dave Jordan.
