Ged started his recording career working with the Ruthless Rap Assassins before becoming the drummer with the band Black Grape, who were led by Shaun Ryder (Happy Mondays) and fellow Rap Assassin Kermit.
He also was a drummer and/or percussionist for numerous other bands including Electronic, [a=Charlatans], Joseph Arthur and David Sylvian.
Nowadays Ged is a session player. He also works closely with Peter Gabriel, both live and in the studio.
