Gene Randolph

American drummer, percussionist and music teacher. Son of songwriter Eugene Randolph and father of of drummer Dorian Randolph. Born June 4, 1948, in New York, NY Died December 15, 2012. He performed at the Granit Hotel in the Catskills for many years and also toured with Totie Fields and Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons. He played with top Jazz artists, from Hubert Laws to Roswell Rudd. Later, he was a founding member and drummer of the Saints of Swing. He taught music for 35 years in the South Bronx of New York.
