George Goss

George Goss is a Honky Tonk / Outlaw Country musician from Terlingua, Texas.

Own biography:
I literally cut my teeth on my daddy's Doctor Graybo pipe, a pacifier soaked with Jim Beam and a Willie Nelson album called "and then I wrote". I bought my first hock shop guitar when i was 19, learned three cords and sat down to try to write my story. I guess played every campfire, picnic, carnival ground and honkytonk from coast to coast. Eventually I landed in Luckenbach Texas where i played under the trees and where my girlfriend worked. I sat with some of the finest songwriters in the world, unsung heros, the talent was abounding. I was later married in Luckenbach and started the Brokenstrings Recording Studio.in became a phenomenon.. my old friend Alton Watson called it a "Happening" songwriters came from every. It was all about the song, we were writing songs every day , someone would always show up on the door step and say "hey listen to this" My heart for the music have not changes since those days , we decided to move south and build a green energy studio. Since we have moved to the desert of the Big Bend, we taken songwriters from all over Texas down into the Villa De La Mina twice to record on green energy. For Me it has been and always will be about the song.

My latest CD is a work coming out soon , produced by Pat OBryan in a green energy studio just a couple of miles down a dirt road where we intend to build Brokenstrings Stuido at the Bluff.
