Canadian singer and songwriter born January 27, 1936 in Winnipeg. He began his career in St. Boniface, Manitoba (radio) and Montréal (radio and television). He made his CBC television debut (Toronto 1957) on "Club O'Connor" and performed in the 1960s on CBC radio and television shows in Winnipeg (e.g., "Music Break" 1960), Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver and on CTV in Toronto ("Musical Showcase"). Noted for his bilingual abilities. Brother of singer Gisele MacKenzie.
