Gloria Isabel Ramos

Spanish-born multi-instrumentalist, conductor, bandleader and composer. She had her musical education in Barcelona and Zurich until the early 1990s.

Her first musical activity was in Switzerland right after her education. She was leader of the Orchester Wallisellen from 1993 until 2001, she led the Orchester Santa Maria in Luzern from 1996 to 2001.
In 2000, she was requested to take leadership at Orquesta de Córdoba in Spain, she became the first female leader of a symphonic orchestra in Spain and was active between 2001 and 2004.
In the time after, she had dozens of guest conductorships and she started to compose her own works.

In 2017, she co-founded the Weltsaiten Sinfonietta in Switzerland
