Godkomplex was formed in 1998 by Mr. Panik and Download with the intention of revitalizing hard industrial music. Download has been involved in the industrial genre since the mid-80s playing with bands such as Servo Sector (which included current members of Kevorkian Death Cycle and Hex Rx). Mr. Panik is currently in side projects including Chaos Frequency and Skinprobe. The duo combine elements of several electronic genres including drum & bass, power noise, techno, trance and cold wave to produce a unique sound which preserves the integrity of earlier industrial music while utilizing a more modern approach. GK released their debut album World Below in January of 2000 on Chaos Records which was re-released in 2003 on ANR/Hexagon with national distribution via DSBP. With the addition of 2 band members (Reload & the Loch Ness Monster), GK released their 2nd album with ANR titled Audial Apostasy on 06/06/06 Via- Artificial Noise Records
