She is probably best known for her No. 1 hit in 1956, "The Wayward Wind". She charted eight times total between 1955 and 1967, all of those in the U.S. and "The Wayward Wind" also hit #9 in the U.K. Her second biggest hit came in 1955, "Suddenly There's a Valley", which hit #9.
