Gordon Gieseking

Gordon Gieseking is the Founder and CEO of Project: Mooncircle, a Berlin-based electronic music label, and a visionary whose passion for music knows no bounds. Since launching the label over thirteen years ago, he has built a self-made musical empire that continues to grow, spawning numerous offshoots and collaborative ventures. In 2009, he co-founded the dub techno label Project Squared, followed by the launch of the innovative platform Finest Ego in 2010.

With a diverse and forward-thinking catalog, Gordon has secured licensing deals with some of the world’s most iconic brands, including Audi, Nissan, Nike, Red Bull, Vodafone, Universal, Warner, VH1, HUGO BOSS, HBO, ABC, The Walt Disney Company, Mercedes-Benz, and many others.

Beyond his label work, Gordon serves as Licensing Manager at HHV Handels GmbH (hhv.de) and continues to broaden his influence within the global music scene. He has hosted shows on NTS Radio (London) and Red Bull Music Academy Radio, further solidifying his role as a tastemaker.

His extensive industry experience has made him a sought-after speaker and educator. He has lectured at leading institutions including the University of the Arts (UDK Berlin), Goethe University Frankfurt, University of Economics in Prague, Humboldt University, and the Goethe-Institut. He has also spoken at prominent events such as the Czech Centrum Berlin, BUMA Music Conference (Rotterdam, 2014), Lost In Music / Music Finland (Tampere, 2015), and the European Music Conference (Warsaw, 2012), where he shares his knowledge with the next generation of creatives.

A DJ from an early age, Gordon has produced exclusive mixes for platforms such as Boiler Room London (2011/2013), Electronic Explorations, and Earmilk, as well as radio stations including BBC Radio 6 Music, FM4 (ORF), PULS (ARD/BR), RadioEins (RBB), 1LIVE (WDR), Dublab Japan, NTS, Worldwide FM, and ByteFM.

Project: Mooncircle’s visual identity reflects Gordon’s parallel career as a graphic artist. His striking designs have been commissioned by Universal Music, Zoo York, Red Bull, Ninja Tune, Warp, Planet Mu, Island Records, and more.

From 2015 to 2020, he served as Marketing Manager and Video Content Creator for the professional ice hockey club Eisbären Berlin, through his work with Eisbären Juniors Berlin. Between 2017 and 2019, he also consulted for Club Gretchen (formerly ICON Berlin) in event management, and painted the club’s entire interior.

In 2019, Gordon returned to his musical roots with the launch of 90’s Tapes, an imprint of HHV Handels GmbH dedicated to forgotten, unreleased, or classic hip hop reissues from the 1990s. To date, he has overseen more than 120 releases through 90’s Tapes, many of which sell out within minutes.

Recently, Gordon has reconnected with his first creative passion: graffiti. Working under the artist name Cors One, he has participated in graffiti jams across Europe and regularly paints at Berlin’s Hall of Fame sessions. His large-scale works can also be seen in the press and player areas of the former Mercedes-Benz Arena (now Uber Arena), showcasing his detailed and vibrant mural style.
