About

Born September 18, 1955 in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
His first musical approaches included Scottish bagpipes at the age of 7.
Some years later Cazenave was interested in the 60s rock, and he would receive his first drum kit in 1968.
Guillermo would study with artist Sam Lerman and Alberto Alcala and, in 1969, debuted with his school group, while his brother lent him a 2-track reel-to-reel Toshiba recorder, with which he would record more than two hundred folk-style songs with neo-Celtic touches.

In 1973 he would leave the group and travel to New York, where he would work as a correspondent, collaborating with several magazines (Cazenave wrote about a dozen books).
Five years later he would travel to London. At that time he received guitar lessons, making contact with musicians like Steven Halpern and Anthony Phillips, who would inspire him to found his own Astral Music label in 1983, settling in Sitges (Catalonia) pioneering -along with Ronald Lloyd- the New Age music camp in Spain.

Until 1993 he would be absorbed by the New Age stream, but true to his ideas about Bio Music, perceiving that the style would be distorted, he would create its own group, called La Nave,
where he would perform more symphonic things and raise the pulsations of his works. In this same year NASA, would include his piece "Fly High", along with pieces by other great artists on the last flight of the ferry Endeavor. In 1999 Cazenave would settle in southern France, where he would write, record and play, sharing scene with Jeremy Morris.

His intention is to make self-produced music without compromising as Steven Halpern himself would advise him, this criterion has led him to record more than eighty albums.
