German composer (film music), orchestra leader and publisher, born 02.03.1920 in Stuttgart, died 21.10.1993 in Munich. From 1946-48 head of the light music department at Süddeutscher Rundfunk (SDR) and founder of the renowned “Weeks of Light Music” at the SDR. 1953-58 head of the light music department at Bayerischer Rundfunk (BR) and guest conductor for various formations. 1958 he founded the music publishing house Dehace Musikverlag and recording studio together with partner Delle Haensch. Production of film and commercial, so called library music.
