Austrian pianist, composer, arranger, and conductor, born 12 March 1930 in Vienna, Austria, died 30 November 2024 in Gräfelfing, Germany. Worked as a pianist and arranger in various jazz ensembles in the 1950s. Later on, he turned to composing and arranging pop records, working with the likes of Curd Jürgens, Hildegard Knef, and Inge Brück. In 1966, in Luxembourg, he arranged and conducted Udo Jürgens' winning Eurovision Song Contest entry 'Merci chérie'.
