Heartworms

About

The Washington, D.C.-based noise pop band the Heartworms comprised vocalist/guitarist Archie Moore (a former member of Velocity Girl) and his girlfriend, vocalist/bassist Trisha Roy (also in Belmondo), along with a rotating cast of supporting players including Chisel drummer Chris Norborg and Sabine's Chip Porter. The group began in 1994, and issued their first single "Thanks for the Headache" on the hip Darla label later that year. Space Escapade, the Heartworms' debut LP, followed in 1995; the Enemies EP appeared in 1996.
