HimemaniK is an electro-oriented J-Rock/Industrial unit.
The Period I (2007~2010):
Features the super cutie ♀voice Mio Himemiya and track-maker, guitarist DJ Manik. The sound is based on melodious loud rock, it is also electronic flavored, or sometimes dancable 4-to-the-floor beat.
The Period II (2011~):
After ceasing musical activities immediately following their appearance in Mexico in 2010, HimemaniK is now back in action with new vocalist Minazuki Ayame. The new HimemaniK's electro-pop sound is more melodious, darker, and noisier than ever before!
The new vocalist Ayame Minazuki joined HimemaniK after her visual kei band, Iris DiaNna, declared its hiatus. Trackmaker Manik, in addition to working as a DJ in the dark electro kei scene, also works as a sound engineer for his home label Darkest Labyrinth and its partner label Darkest Labyrinth.
