Danish rock group active from 1975 to 1980.
Irene Becker met the sisters Hanne Rømer and Lotte Rømer at the University of Copenhagen, where they were studying musicology. They signed up for a jazz event in the summer of 1975 at Vallekilde Folk High School. There, they met Karen Mortensen and the band was formed, which made them one of the first serious all-female rock bands from Denmark, together with Shit & Chanel and Søsterrock. They played at the women's festival in Fælledparken, Copenhagen in August 1975 for about 40,000 spectators, which made them a popular group in Denmark. They played a lot of concerts and after the release of the first LP in March 1977, the drummer Karen Mortensen left the band, because she didn't like the big audiences caused by the popularity the group gained. Male musicians Bent Clausen and Pierre Dørge became members, and some adherents of the Danish women's movement didn't enjoy that the band were no longer an all-female group.
