Hugh Vanstone

Hugh Vanstone (b. 8 August 1965, Exeter, Devon) is an acclaimed British lighting designer and director, The Old Vic's theater associate artist. Vanstone is best known for his work on Broadway productions. He holds several prestigious industry accolades, including "Best Lighting Design" at Tony Awards for [url=/master/2233048]Matilda: The Musical[/url] (2013) and Jack Thorne's Christmas Carol in 2021 (which won in four other nominations: Chris Nightingale's "Best Original Score," [url=/artist/1934097]Simon Baker[/url]'s "Best Sound Design," and [url=/artist/7296895]Rob Howell[/url]'s 2× for "Best Scenic" and "Best Costume Design").
