Hule Spuma

Hule Spuma Nació en 1996 y terminó en 2003 (Aunque realizaron shows únicos en 2005, 2012 y 2015) Era una banda de amigos que se conocieron en la secundaria y compartían el gusto y entusiasmo por el punk californiano , entre sus mayores influencias estaban No use for a name, Strung Out, Hi-Standard y Slick shoes. Formaron parte de la escena de punk melódico de finales de los noventa junto con 301 izquierda, Los imposibles, Big Spin, Gula, Spalding Gray, División Minúscula, Axpi, Giforen, Los Alex, entre otros. También tuvieron oportunidad de compartir escenario con bandas como Ataque 77, Saves the day, Masacre 68, Kris Roe (the Ataris) ,Vantroi y Seguimos perdiendo.

If there was a group that embodied that label before it became uncool, it was Hulespuma. They were lightning-fast and saccharine-sweet in their hooks, slightly snotty but always wore their hearts on their sleeves. Hulespuma was one of the most noteworthy bands of the early scene, with tracks on the legendary Prueba Esto compilation, anthems like “Quiero Saber,” and their album Egon.
