Hypnos

Czech death metal band Hypnos has been founded by Bruno (bass, voc) at fall of 1999 when he left Krabathor.

His new band mates became Pegas (drums, ex-Krabathor, ex-Dehydrated) and guitarist R.A.D. (Stagnant). From the whole beginning he band has been supported by Krabathor manager Pedro and German record label Morbid Records. In mentioned line up there was first self-titled MCD released via Morbid Records at spring of 2000.

In May 2000 there was debut album „In Blood We Trust“ recorded with new guitarist Hire and Mika Luttinen from Impaled Nazarene as a special guest on some vocals. After local shows and small tours over the Czech Republic and Germany, Hypnos took an appearance on the winters X-Mass Festivals beside Behemoth, The Crown, Enslaved, Dying Fetus and Morbid Angel (2 weeks European tour).

After next change of axeman (now David M.) Hypnos entered German Spiderhouse Studio in June 2001 to record their second opus „The Revenge Ride“ with famous producer Harris Johns.

Also third album „Rabble Manifesto“ was recorded with the same producer and in the same studio again with new guitarist – Butch Mills. After European tour in January 2006 with Centinex and Purgatory the band has stopped their activities due to the personal duties.

Currently Bruno and Pegas stay in close touch keeping their interest in extreme music alive.
