About

Ike Yard was founded in 1979 in New York by Stuart Argabright (percussion/synthesizer/vocals), Kenny Compton (bass/vocals), Fred Szymanski (percussion/synthesizers) & Michael Diekmann (guitar). This lineup released one EP on Les Disques Du Crepuscule and a self-titled LP on Factory America before dissolving in 1983. The band reformed in 2007 as a three-piece consisting of Argabright, Compton and Diekmann, and started releasing new music beginning with the Öst EP in 2009.
