    Indian Puddin' & Pipe

    From San Francisco, around 1968/69.

Indian & Puddin' & Pipe was formed after the breakup of West Coast Natural Gas in 1968. The name was the invention of producer Matthew Katz. In late 1968, after a brief hiatus in Seattle, Washington, Pat Craig returned to San Francisco, and with Steve Mack put together the performing version of Indian Puddin' & Pipe. The line-up was: Pat Craig, Steve Mack, Rex Larsen, Paul Trousdale, Dennis Lanigan, Steve Jackson, Barry Lewis. The most well known version of Indian Puddin' & Pipe lost Lewis and added Rick Quintanal on Drums and Jock Ellis on Trombone. Lydia Moreno sang on some sessions.
