Inquiri

Inquiri is the eclectic-ambient experimental trip-hop project of Los Angeles-based DJ/composer/producer Lacey Harris (aka Lacey IQ). Inquiri music has been reviewed and described as everything from uplifting, physically touching, and healing to "electronic heroin," drawing much influence from sounds ranging from classic and underground ambient composers, multi-platinum stadium fillers, and dream-pop all the way to instrumental hip-hop, East and Central Asian classical and tribal music, the sounds of Africa, Latin rhythms, and the Japanese electronic music underground. Inquiri has one independent album release to date (as of summer 2011), 2010's epic instrumental Walk For Miles, which is available on iTunes, Amazon, eMusic, Myspace, and more. IQ is currently hard at work on two more records set to release soon. The next record will be a team-up between Inquiri and the enigmatic pianist/vocalist Miss Mimi (Mayumi Kaneyuki).
