Ivana Kindl

Croatian pop music singer, born January 18, 1978 in Požega, Croatia.

In her childhood she played gymnastics, danced and learned to play accordion in music school. At the age of 15 she discovers the magic of Soul and R’n’B music through singers like Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston. During her secondary education she used to travel every week to music teacher Mario Gjuranac who taught her singing. She appeared in various TV shows like Turbo Limach Show and Give Them Applause where she won the first place in 1996. She enrolled in the Faculty of law in Osijek, but fell out because of singing. She moved to Zagreb and joined the band Funky Town where she sang for two years. Her friends from the group XL invited her to film her first commercial. Today you can hear her voice in many commercials of Croatian successful firms. She caught the eye of a producer who targets younger audiences Baby Dooks from Bolesna Braća and offered her collaboration. Ivana Kindl’s Music is a mix between Pop, RnB and Soul.
