Jaime Rodriguez

Percussionist, composer, arranger and producer born in Colombia currently working in the Netherlands.

Grew up in a musical family in the city of Cali. At the age of twelve, begins his musical studies at the Cali Conservatory, continuing them at Universidad del Valle. In 1983 continue new studies in Latin percussion, composition and arrangement at the Conservatory of Rotterdam.

Formed the salsa orchestra Rumbata in 1990.
Started the recording studio Camina Music Studio, Amsterdam in 1996.
Formed Rumbatá Big Band in 2003.
Formed Rumbata Beat Band.
Formed Jaime Rodríguez Band in 2012.
