Techno / trance / euro-dance duo from Frankfurt, Germany, active 1991-2006. Jam & Spoon's first album, BreaksUnit1, was released in 1991. They had their first hit with the 1992 song "Stella," considered to be a trance classic. A British DJ on Radio 1 went as far to say that this song saved techno music. Markus Löffel died of a heart attack in his Berlin flat on 11 January 2006 at the age of 39.
