Jan Erik Kongshaug (born 4 July 1944, Trondheim, Norway – died 5 November 2019) was a Norwegian recording engineer, producer and jazz guitarist who recorded many ECM Records releases at ECM Records, Oslo and Talent Studio, Oslo. He is often cited as the source of "the ECM sound". Former chief engineer at Arne Bendiksen Studio. Son of John Kongshaug.
