    Prolific Brazilian singer and songwriter. Born in Belém, PA on November 16, 1950. Married to (and divorced from) to Gay Vaquer and mother of Jay Vaquer.


    Having lived in the US for six years, she returned to Brazil in the 1970's and formed Fein, a band which caused some controversy due to the lyrics of one of their songs. She also sang as part of Banda Veneno and was part of the Rede Globo's choir. During this time she was also engaged by Zurama Jingles to record commercials. She became a member of Rio Jazz Orchestra.

    In the 1980's she became part of Grupo Cantamor and continued to participate in many TV specials, and also wrote several books, some of which became musicals. During this time she also co-founded Jam Music (2) with Paolo Amorim.
