    Canadian (Québec) singer born on November 10, 1946, in St-Hyacinthe. She made her professional debut in 1959 with Jean Grimaldi's troupe and was named Discovery of the Year in 1965. In the spring of 1965, she was the only francophone artist to be an opening act for The Rolling Stones at the Maurice-Richard Arena.
