Israeli psychedelic and hard rock band active from 1965 until 1973, in 2015, and again in 2018. In Israel they are known as Churchill's or הצ'רצ'ילים, literally The Churchills in Hebrew. When they relocated to England and signed with a British label in 1970 they temporarily changed the name to Jericho Jones as it was feared an Israeli band calling themselves Churchill's would not be appreciated. The original Israeli release and some reissues of their second album give the name of the band as Jericho Jones in English and הצ'רצ'ילים in Hebrew. The name was shortened to Jericho for their third album. After returning to Israel in 1972 they returned to the original name.
