Jim Gosa

Liner notes author – and a major jazz figure for more than three decades in L.A., known for his feature "Jazz Chronicles" at KBCA radio. He served as a judge at jazz festivals and broadcasted for more than a decade the Monterey Jazz Festival to Los Angeles.
Former L.A. Mayor Tom Bradley designated in 1987 February 13 as "Jim Gosa Day" in the city.
Jim stayed on air until he died on December 18, 1989, at the age of 58, in his home in Venice.
