Jim Morgan

Canadian musician, songwriter, composer, engineer and producer from Pickering, Ontario. Partner of singer Rena Gaile.

He played organ with Noah and did some session work in Canada. He engineered at RCA Studios, Toronto from late 1960s until leaving to join as one of the original engineers at the opening of RCA Studios, Toronto studio. In late 1976 he left Captain Audio to return to RCA Studios, Toronto as chief engineer until it closed in 1979.

He then moved to RCA Studios, Toronto until 1984, when he co-founded production company/studio RCA Studios, Toronto with partners Ray Parker and Tom Szczesniak. Parker and Szczesniak would move on to form a different partnership in 1993 and Morgan would continue to operate Acrobat Music on his own.
