New York-born percussionist, and later a producer famed for his unique drum sounds and mixing skills (23 March 1942, Brooklyn, New York City, New York, USA - 22 October 1994, Denver, Colorado, USA). Founder of Jimmy Miller Productions, Inc.

Worked with, amongst many others, Blind Faith, Motörhead, Traffic and The Rolling Stones - who sacked him in 1973 due to his heroin addiction. Just before his death in 1994 he worked with Primal Scream.
He married the singer Gayle Shepherd in the early 1960s with whom they had a daughter, Deena Miller. That marriage ended in divorce. He then married Kerri-Anne Kennerley in the late 1970s who later left the relationship.
