American actor, singer, and songwriter. Born September 29, 1940 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. BMI IPI #: 23815402. Played a "singing horse barn cleaner" on "The Virginian" TV series in the 1960s under his real name. Born to French-Canadian parents, he adopted the stage name "Joe Cannon" at the start of his singing career in the early 1970s and legally changed the family surname to Cannon in '80. In December 1990 the Los Angeles Times called him "the one-man party of the Reno and Sun Valley saloons." Joe is the father of twin sons professional MLS soccer goalkeeper Joseph Reid Peloquin and AA-minor league baseball pitcher Jon Reid Peloquin.
