The band formed in 2006 when Joe Lean, then drummer with The Pipettes, decided he needed an outlet for the "effervescent pop symphonies" he had been writing. Drummer James Craig, Panda (bass), Tom Dougall (guitar) and Dom O'Dare (guitar) joined Joe for nearly a year of intensive writing and rehearsal before playing their first show early in 2007. After just a few gigs, they created a buzz on London's music scene and ended 2007 supporting CSS, Babyshambles and the Kaiser Chiefs as well as playing their own headline gigs. They disbanded in 2009.
