    Multi-Emmy Award winning Guitarist, singer and songwriter from L.A. for the bands Walt Mink & Valley Lodge. Has worked in film, T.V. and radio as well as for commercials, in addition to playing in numerous musical projects. In 2000 he won an Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Music and Lyrics for the song "Up to You" from the show "Nickellennium", and in 2001 was nominated for a British Independent Film Award for best original score for the film "Jump Tomorrow". In 2009 Kimbrough co-wrote the opening number for Hugh Jackman to kick off the 81st Academy Awards, in which he won an Emmy for 'Outstanding Music & Lyrics' later that year. He has also worked alongside and behind the scenes with the rock duo Tenacious D.
