Blues singer and harmonica and guitar player, born Canton, Mississippi, February 13, 1919, died Chicago, March 12, 1995. Henley moved to Chicago to work outside music in 1943, recorded two titles for J.O.B. in 1953, and again for Testament in 1964-1966 (also backing Ted Bogan and Honeyboy Edwards; all only released posthumously).
