US jazz/pop singer and guitarist born in March 20, 1928 in Chicago who also cut some early rock'n'roll sides. Died on Friday, March 31, 2017, at the Tennessee State Veterans' Home in Humboldt, Tennessee. He had served in the Korean War. He also appeared in an episode of the television series "Diagnosis: Unknown" and recorded the first version of the Johnny Mathis hit "Gina" which was featured on that show.
