British conductor, born 1962 (Solihull, UK). He received his musical training in Cambridge, London and Manchester. In addition to his work on the podium, Nott is involved in training the next generation of conductors: since 2004, he has been President of the Jury of the Gustav Mahler Conducting Competition, organized by the Bamberg Symphony.
