    Making 4-track demos in his parents’ house since he was a teenager, Polonsky's music finally drew interest of Frank Black. Black produced a demo which got Polonsky signed to Rick Rubin's American Recordings.
    In the late 90s Polonsky temporarily quit the music business and moved to the Ukraine. Since his return he has become an in demand contributor to numerous recordings.
