Josel (Ioannis Selimas) is a DJ and producer, currently based in Manchester (UK). He has been DJing since 1992, with residencies in small bars and clubs in his hometown Agrinio on the western side of Greece, as well as a number of events in Manchester. Josel's main influences and inspiration come from films, and music as diverse as greek folk, pop and hip hop. What ultimately inspires him most though, is everyday life which gives that extra melodic (occasionally melancholic) feeling to his sound. At the moment, apart from producing music, Josel runs a deep house night in Manchester.
