    Since 1967 he has been a member of the Taneyev Quartet.

    Since 1980 he has taught at St. Petersburg Conservatory named after Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

    Since 1999 he has been a professor at the department of cello, harp, double bass and quartet.
