Kabelo Mabalane was born in 1976. This versatile rapper, songwriter and actor hails from South Africa, Diepkloof, Soweto.
He started his music career with kwaito group TKZee before going solo. TKZEE made musical history by introducing kwaito to the United States, performing in Atlanta and Dallas. He is also the first artist outside of the US to land his own footwear line, with Reebok’s RBK campaign, which merges sports and music. Kabelo is also co-owner of Groove Luv Records, which he recently founded with kwaito producer [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/D-Rex+(2)]D-Rex.[/url]
Kabelo was been chosen by the South African Sports Confederation Olympics Committee (SASCOC) as an Olympic Ambassador.
The kwaito singer, who has run the Comrades Marathon four times and counting and was chosen for the role as he could enhance awareness for the Beijing Olympics.
