American rock band from Tumwater, Washington, which was influenced by the likes of Melvins and Black Sabbath.
They formed in 1990 and released albums on Calvin Johnson's label K.
Karp broke up in 1998 with members moving on to other bands, including The Whip and Big Business.
Drummer Scott Jernigan died in a bizarre boating accident in 2003.
