What started in 2014 as a one-man-solo-project with an eponymous debut EP, Kaschalot became a full-blown band when other talented musicians joined in 2016. They recorded a full-length album "Whale Songs", which was released in 2018. The band gained notoriety in the Estonian music scene, having played a sold out show right after the restrictions were first lifted in the summer of 2020.
