Kay Robinson

1960s-1980s gospel and soul artist from Springfield, Ohio. Dr. Kay Robinson currently lives in Columbus, Ohio, and started singing at the age of 18. She recorded for King Records and James Brown Productions. James Brown flew her down to Cincinnati from Dayton (she was living in Springfield) for recording sessions. Her career with James Brown Productions ended when she wouldn't record R&B songs.
