Wilson continued his journey to Columbia Records where he served as Senior Vice President of Radio Promotions. He was responsible for the success of artists such as Mariah Carey, NAS, Lauren Hill, Maxwell, LL Cool J, George Michael, Wycleff, DaBrat, Jagged Edge, and more. He then sequed to MCA Records as President of Black Music where he oversaw the day to day operations of that music division.
