Kentucky AFC

Kentucky AFC was established in 2001 after they changed their name from Cacan Wy Experience.
In 2003 the single Bodlon was recorded, and this proved to be the band's signage for years later. Later that year the single double-A Outlaw / 11 was released . This is the year when the band's laborers carried fruit.
The Kentucky AFC won five awards in the RAP Radio Cymru over the years including the Best Session, Best Newcomer, Best Single (for Outlaw / 11 recorded by Super Furry Animals producer Gorwel Owen), Best Live Band and Band of the Year.
In addition, the band won two awards at the Welsh Music Awards for the best Welsh language record ( Satisfied ) and Welsh Best Entrant.
He received their expected long album, Kentucky AFC , released in 2004 by Boobytrap Records, great reviews. The band was nominated among Goldie Lookin Chain, Lostprophets and Super Furry Animals at the Pop Factory awards for the Best Wales Group.
In the summer of 2007, after six years of constantly making progressive music, taking part in a number of sessions including the arrival of Fifty's Last Ever Festive John Peel hero, and succeeding in staging lively and sometimes unpredictable shows, Kentucky AFC announced that they were ' Put the fiddle in the roof by releasing the Fnord album and held a farewell trip. A movie was created for the last trip by Angharad Griffiths that can be found on the web.
Kentucky AFC members continued to operate in a variety of other musical projects.

Huw Owen went on to establish himself as Mr Huw , Endaf Roberts performed as Endaf Presli, and Gethin Evans went on to become a member of the Genod Droog hip hop band that ended in 2008.
