American progressive metal keyboardist. Born May 26, 1967 in Kings Park, New York.
Founder of Fight Evil Records.
Moore came to fame as member and keyboardist of the highly successful progressive metal band Dream Theater. In 1994 he left the band and focused on writing and producing his own work, released under the name Chroma Key. In 2003 he joined the band OSI.
Moore also did some keyboard work for Fates Warning.
Since 2020 Moore has been working as a psychiatrist in Trinity Health in Minot, North Dakota, after earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University in Iowa, and completing his psychiatry residency at Garnet Health Medical Center, Middletown, NY.
