About

Rahmakhan Todd Turnbow (born February 23, 1967), better known by his stage name King Sun, is an American rapper from Paterson, New Jersey. He made his debut in 1987 with the single "Hey Love" with producer D-Moet, which peaked at #69 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Turnbow signed to Zakia Records and Profile Records that same year. He released his debut album, XL, in 1989, which failed to chart. Turnbow's second album, Righteous but Ruthless, was released in 1990 and became his only studio album to reach the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart when it peaked at #54. He parted from Profile following its release. In 1992, Turnbow released the single "Sippin' Brandy" on Money Bag Records, Inc. He then signed to Cold Chillin' Records and released the EP Strictly Ghetto in 1994. Turnbow released his third studio album, Say No More, in 1999, marking his first studio album in almost ten years. He released the EP Heat 4 da Streets in 2002.
