English band on the pub rock scene. Formed in 1973. Disbanded in 1977, re-united in 1985. Mostly famous for the 1976 single Little Does She Know.
The Kursaal was a renowned ballroom on the seafront at Southend-on-Sea in Essex. Each year The Kursaal would be represented in the town carnival by a large novelty train, known as The Kursaal Flyer. Hence the band's name.
